Weekend at Wilton Hotel was great!
We stayed in Blackpool last weekend and slept 2 nights at the Wilton Hotel. The owner Daniel and his wife Amanda are very friendly and nice people. Breakfast was superb. Delicious English cuisine and more than sufficient. Rooms are clean and well taken care of. Parking is well arranged by the owner. Bar area where you can drink a beer is super cozy / old brown cafe idea. Location is absolutely top a few steps away from the boulevard. Have enjoyed and we will definitely come back!
Weekend away with friends
Unbelievably nice hotel, we went there with 8 friends to watch a football match we had a great time and what we were received there friendly by the owners so hospitable everything was well organized, the rooms were super clean the breakfast was delicious in a very cozy dining room. Highly recommended.
Good stay in this hotel
Upon arrival, he was greeted by Daniel, who politely explained everything at check-in, then was taken and taken to the room. Basic but very clean room, but as expected for the price paid. Nice clean bathroom, nice hot shower, nice fluffy white towels. Separate heating in the bathroom, which was much appreciated in winter (although there is no hairdryer in the room as stated when booking) (could have been provided by the owner while I am here, but probably should have been provided) must have been suffocated in the moment). The television was very small, but there was a large selection of channels, kettles with plenty of tea, coffee, sugar and milk. The hotel is quite close to the ocean, 1 minute walk, 15 minute walk from the fun beach, 10 minutes from the central pier and 20 minutes from the tower.
Excellent hotel and owner
I came alone with my 3 children and stayed here for 2 nights. From the beginning, when I got in my car, Daniel was a great help, he was a great help when I brought my luggage and he was great with me, the children. When he arrived, he said that everything was very accommodating. Breakfast was delightful and my children loved the kids breakfast (pancakes). I would definitely stay here again to stay. The rooms were very clean and I loved the white duvets, they were nice and fresh. He also liked the fact that he had a Lego table for children who liked to play.
Nice and friendly
We were a family of 2 adults and 2 children and booked a family room. I had read that there was parking and called the day before to check if the parking was correct as I had booked on Booking.com and are said to reserve a parking space. Daniel received us, he was very warm and friendly. The first impression was that it was clean and cozy. Daniel went through everything with us before taking us to our room. The room had plenty of room for the four of us, enough plugs for smart kids to charge their devices! The bed was very comfortable and cozy!
