Very nice B&B for a Scarborough
The B&B is in the North Bay area of Scarborough, the nicer part of Scarborough. Very well-kept accommodation with extremely friendly host. Very nice, individually designed rooms, everything was very clean, great rich breakfast!
By far the best guest house I know.
I chose Scarborough as a time out to read, write and relax. During my fortnight at the North Bay Guest House, I felt very comfortable and at home at all times.
Scarborough was a perfect place for me to relax, discover the North Sea coast and explore Yorkshire. Pretty much in the middle between London and Edinburgh (easily accessible by train) I was able to make a longer stop here.
The location of the North Bay Guest House in Scarborough was ideal for me: close to the beach, the theater, the park and the recreation area and at the same time within walking distance of the city center with train station, shopping and old town.
The whole house is relatively newly renovated, very cozy and spotlessly clean. It was cleaned every day. Free parking in front of the house (with a permit provided by the owners) was included in the price. Free, powerful and fluctuation-free WIFI was available in the room and in the public areas.

After a very bad B&B experience in Scotland we were compensated here. We were greeted very friendly by the hosts. The rooms were clean and cozy, the beds were comfortable, the breakfast overwhelming. In the evening we were able to enjoy an ale in the sun on the small seat in front of the house.
A warm welcome
The first thing that struck me about the bed and breakfast was the pretty garden and the entrance. I was received by a married couple in a very friendly way and the treatment was maintained throughout my stay. It is a good first contact with English people and if you want to practice English it is a perfect place due to how sociable the owners are. It is a very clean place and the breakfast is very complete, you can choose between a continental breakfast or a breakfast with cereals, milk, fruit, more Spanish type. Another thing to note is its good location, close to the city center, park and North bay beach.

Good hosts, very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The room was perfect and the rich breakfast prepared us for the day! The location is great, we parked the car for the weekend and walked to the beach, to the park and took the bus for a trip to South Bay. Everything was there for us to have a nice and relaxing break, thanks to John and Gillian. We will definitely be back!
