Nice
We stayed here for one night. We were impressed with our room overlooking the estuary. The two single beds were comfortable and the pillows were thick. The bathroom was recently renovated and boiled water when we wanted it. The towels were very big and soft. Nobody likes hedgehog towels! Tea and coffee with cookies, it was delicious. Our full English breakfast was beautifully presented and very hot. We enjoy our stay.
Excellent lunch!
My girlfriend, her mother and I have lunch here today. The staff was warm and friendly, brought drinks to our table and really made us feel welcome. Our food came quickly and it was delicious. We particularly liked the choice of a smaller option because none of us are big eaters. The soup was divine! Excellent value for money!
Really nice stay
The rooms are simple but perfectly adequate. Nice and clean. Well then. Good reception and good breakfast. Quiet but convenient location for the Torpoint ferry. Close to the National Trust Anthony House, well worth a visit.
Fabulous food
I couldn't find this food pub on the Torpoint restaurant lists like the hotel lists. However, we had a fantastic family meal (we were not residents) but we live on site. We were warmly greeted by our two young children and our dog. The food was excellent and very cheap. And here is some good advice. Profiteroles (filled with curdled cream) are a dream.
Comfortable but simple
We stayed at this hotel for a weekend to visit friends, the staff were very friendly and helpful, the food we tried was very good and cheap, the real beers at the bar were exceptional and overall a pleasant and friendly one The atmosphere; The rooms are clean and comfortable.
